What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Administrator position at The Intersect Group?
We are eagerly seeking a Benefits Administrator for one of clients in the metro Atlanta area. This is a 6-8 month contract with opportunity for permanent employment. The benefits administrator would follow a hybrid schedule at a large, global public company. The perfect candidate would be a team player and thrive in fast paced environments.
Hybrid schedule (3 on site, 2 WFH)
8am-5pm, 7am-4pm, or 9am-6pm and possible overtime
Job Responsibilities for the Benefits Administrator :
- Key player in providing assistance for new hire orientation, open enrollment, and 401k benefits auditing.
- Vendor invoice processing (union non-union), plus the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of benefits invoices.
- Serve as point of contact for all inquiries and issues as they relate to benefits and benefit tickets with employees and 3rd party to find resolution and provide knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Handle returned mail and processing filing of national medical support orders.
- Work closely with 3rd party as it relates to COBRA eligibility information and qualifying life events for benefits eligibility.
- Communicating of company policies and procedures concerning benefits to employees.
- Process life insurance claims, assisting any beneficiaries with benefits application process, and administration of health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.).
