Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Network Support Engineer with Cisco Meraki experience to assist in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of networking principles and endpoint management, with the ability to troubleshoot, support, and enhance network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
- Assist in network closet reorganization and transition from end-of-life equipment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Manage endpoint security and access control.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure network stability and scalability.
- Work on security-related tasks and ensure confidentiality of company data.
- Support network documentation and assist in process improvements.
- Participate in ongoing projects to improve network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Entry to mid-level networking experience.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, switches, and endpoint management.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Emotional intelligence and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco certifications (CCNA or equivalent) are a plus.
- Familiarity with network security best practices.
- Experience working in a small IT team with a broad range of responsibilities.
- Prior experience with server setup and management is a bonus.
