What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at The Intersect Group?
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project governed by the company Project Management Office (PMO). As a member of the Project Management Office, the Project Manager partners with business stakeholders to align on project objectives and expected outcomes. The Project Manager ensures that PMO projects are delivered according to defined scope, schedule, and budget. Role will work three days a week onsite in Gainesville, GA. Initially a contract with potential to convert to fulltime.
Responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Master for development teams including creating sprint goals, coach team members in Agile framework
- Define scope, risks and potential issues
- Prepare realistic plans to determine schedule, cost, equipment and staffing requirements
- Manages stakeholder involvement as appropriate. Work with all stakeholders to ensure established governance processes are adhered to
Qualifications
- PMP certification is a bonus
- Experience with Smartsheet is preferred
- Need experience in organizations with newer PMOs - experience developing/establishing a PMO would be great
- Experience managing projects through the full SDLC
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
