Your Opportunity as an E&T Translation Leader
As an Interpreters and translators, you willconvert information from one language to another.Interpreters work with spoken language, while translators work with written language.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Work Arrangements: 100% On-site, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Compensation Base Rate: $24.00/ hourly
In this role you will:
Interpreter responsibilities:
- Listen carefully
- Understand languages
- Accurately reproduce what is said
- Use technology like microphones and headphones
- Attend meetings and conferences
- Convey what is said without adding, omitting, or editing
- Communicate the style and tone of the speaker
- Consider differences in culture, dialect, and setting
Translator/Trainer responsibilities
- Translate written documents like contracts, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain the original meaning and tone
- Edit and proofread translated documents
- Reference materials like language dictionaries

Education & Trainer responsibilities:
- With area supervisor, assume overall responsibility for coordinating/facilitating training on your team
- Active member of the E&T Pillar Team
- Execute necessary department/plant training
- Evaluate effectiveness of training for your team/department
- Keep accurate records for team
Skills:
- Speak, read, and write fluently in at least two languages
- Be impartial
- Be able to accurately convey the message without altering the intended meaning interpreters and translators help people communicate by converting messages from one language to another.
