Job Description :
The Senior Accountant will perform analysis of financial statements, assist in strategic initiatives, manage special projects from inception to completion and make independent judgements that impact the society. A high level of initiative, ownership of responsibilities, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are necessary. This position will work closely with the controller optimize efficiency and streamline planning, processing and reporting. This position is expected to complete duties in a timely and accurate manner, effectively communicate detailed
financial information clearly and concisely, maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role also requires reading and interpreting complex business correspondence and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Process general ledger entries and corresponding reconciliations.
- Manageaudit requirements.
- Research applicable regulations for special situations and compliance.
- Managethe credit card process.
- Manageaccounting for thecharitable foundation and subsidiaries.
- Prepareand reviewreportsand financial statements for completeness and accuracy.
- Managecorporate sales and use tax payment.
- Handle special projects as needed.
Requirements :
Pay Range :
The anticipated pay range for this position is $35-$40.00 per hour.
