What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Attendant position at The James Foundation?
The James Foundation is filling a park attendant position at Maramec Spring Park. This position patrols the park during times of heaviest public use, answers park user questions, ensures that all park rules are being followed, and ensures restrooms are clean and functioning properly.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Basic knowledge of tools and machinery. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and deal with the public in a friendly manner.
Duties include but not limited to: clean all public bathrooms and showers as needed, sweep and mop floors, pickup trash and litter in the park daily, sweep sidewalks, campground site preparation and cleanup, maintenance of fish cleaning stations, and fill and maintenance fish feed machines.
The position is responsible for park surveillance and clearing out park visitors before closing the park in the evening.
Immediate start date.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
