Gain valuable experience and knowledge about the museum field as a summer intern at The James Museum.
Commitment: 3-month commitment (Generally June-August but schedule is flexible) working approximately 10-20 hours per week. Interns may be eligible to extend their term based on the needs of the museum.
Enrichment Opportunities: James Museum interns will have learning opportunities in addition to their daily tasks including meetings with key staff, field trips to other museums and ability to attend educational programs.
Location: Primarily on-site at 150 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL. There may be some off-site events or remote work opportunities.
Eligibility: College undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates.

Scope of Work: Summer Internships are offered in 3 departments: Marketing, Development and Education & Public Programs. Tasks and projects are based on the needs of each department and will be outlined during interview process. Below is a general description of each department’s responsibilities:

Selection Process:
- Candidates apply for the James Museum internship program online

- One summer Intern will be selected for each department and contacted to discuss schedule and start date
