Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for our properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of property management practices.
Duties
- Assist potential tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing detailed information about available units.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing features and amenities while addressing any questions or concerns from prospective renters.
- Manage the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and processing applications.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, contracts, and tenant communications.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant needs and ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette and prompt responses to inquiries.
- Support administrative tasks related to property management, including filing contracts and maintaining organized records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and Fair Housing laws is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with potential tenants professionally.
- Basic knowledge of facilities management and property maintenance practices.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
