Job Summary
As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for orchestrating the details of clients' special day, July 27th 2025 ensuring that every aspect of the wedding runs smoothly and meets the couple's vision. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and exceptional customer service skills to create memorable experiences for clients and their guests.
You will have a schedule, and detailed instructions of the day, a binder, and other tools to help you navigate not only yourself, but the decorators, and the cleaners through-out the day.
You will also work July 25th 2025 to orchestrate and direct the ceremony rehearsal with the Officiant, Maid of Honor, and Bride's Sister.
Duties
- You will help run the Ceremony Rehearsal. This means you will teach each person how to walk down the Aisle. As detailed in the Ceremony Walk-Through. And which way to turn and how to walk around the chairs and sit down in their assigned places as according to the seating chart. You will show the Groomsmen and Bride's maids where to stand, how to stand. You will teach the MOH that her job is to straighten out the Bride's dress once she gets to the Alter then take her bouquet. You will rehears once with you leading and talking them through the entire thing. Queuing the Ceremony DJ to Que the music at appropriate times. Once they can do it without you correcting everything everyone can pack up and go home.
- The Day before you will have a 2 hour phone call with the Bride and Maid of Honor to go over the checklist to ensure everything is packed and ready for the next day. This will be paid to you in the amount of $50.00 for the phone call, you will also verify with the bride that the virtual schedules for the workers of the event have been sent.
- The day of you will ensure everyone has a paper copy of their schedules. Anyone who you do not have a schedule for that wants to help will be helping Decorate.
- You will use the decorating check list, and reference pictures to help set up the Ceremony and Reception area's as the Bride wants, Help direct the decorators.
- Leave the Kitchen and Buffet area up to the Cook and her helpers.
- You will help everyone get lined up in line order according to the Ceremony Itinerary.
- You will announce people and help time them to walk down the aisle as per instructed in the Ceremony Walk-Through.
- You will cue when the bride and groom should exit the ceremony.
- You will ensure the disabled/aged table only has disabled and aged at it during the reception.
- You will help the Runners gather people for photos according the the Photoshoot Schedule.
- You will Announce the S'more Libations and have people gather.
- You will announce the Toasts, according to the Toast schedule.
- You will help run a game or two during the last few hours of the wedding.
- You will announce the Couples last dance for the night, and thank everyone for coming, and remind them to grab anything they brought or were given for the wedding with them when they leave.
