The Job Shop is now assisting a company in the Somerset, KY area in their search for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Duties
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using analytical skills to diagnose problems effectively.
- Conduct repairs on machinery, including welding and fabrication tasks as needed. .
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used for inventory management.
- Work with logic controllers to ensure proper operation of automated systems.
- Assist in technical sales by providing insights on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to industrial mechanics and equipment handling.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Experience working with logic controllers is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues effectively.
