Administrative Supervisor
We are seeking a Administrative Supervisor who must be able to work independently to provide administrative support for the two Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) based fellowship programs, all GYN/OB residents who rotate at JHBMC, and medical students who rotate in GYN/OB at JHBMC. Will be responsible for assisting in the administration of the medical students, residency and fellowship programs. They will use in-depth knowledge to anticipate, organize, and support the activities of these medical educational programs. The Administrative Supervisor will interact with faculty, residents, fellows, medical students and institutional/regulatory administrative offices as directed by the Program Administrator. This position will also support other administrative efforts and special projects as needed.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage administrative activities for the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) Department of Gyn/Ob.
- Manage the administrative calendars of the Department Chair, Administrator, and Operations Manager.
- Coordinate departmental faculty meetings, events, and lectures.
- Maintain office supply inventory, computer equipment and printers.
- Manage departmental reimbursements obtaining approval as needed to track spending.
- Generate all SAP related requests for department to include travel expense reports and check requests.
- Create and maintain employee files for all departmental providers and support staff.
- Track provider compliance with maintaining valid medical, CDS, and DEA licenses.
- Serve as back up for administrative activities for the Johns Hopkins Urogynecology fellowship program and Complex Family Planning fellowship programs to include preparation and submission of annual ABOG report, coordinate interviews, new hires, orientation, and other duties as needed.
- Support clinic template processing for JHBMC and off-site clinics.
- Interact with other members of department to include departmental chair, providers, administrator, operations manager, medical office coordinators, and clinic managers.
- Manage special projects for the department.
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Five years progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $21.25 - $36.90 HRLY ($60,424 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Education and Experience Equivalency
Please refer to the job description above to see which forms of equivalency are permitted for this position. If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines: JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
