Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records within the agency management system and electronic files.
- Provide excellent customer service to build and maintain positive relationships with Safeguard's clients.
- Practice outstanding verbal and written communication with clients and insurance carrier representatives that is professional, confident, clear, and concise.
- Prepare and maintain client-facing presentation documents.
- Review all renewal and new business policies for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
- Billing, premium financing, and non-payment follow-up.
- Process policy change requests and audits. Responsible for timely endorsement follow-up, as well as billing.
- Issue new and renewal Certificates of Insurance and Automobile ID Cards as needed.
- Efficiently utilize insurance carrier online systems.
- Market new and renewal business as necessary, including market selection, online rating, and coverage analysis.
- Field calls regarding claims; direct clients to the appropriate carrier for submitting claims and assist clients with questions regarding claims as necessary.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Knowledge of EPIC Agency Management System Required
- 3 years demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of commercial insurance, including a solid understanding of various coverage types, policy structures, and industry-specific requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
