Looking for a Director of Personal Lines to join a great team. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and operationally minded. They will maintain high standards of client experience, have a thorough understanding of the agency’s internal systems and workflows, and provide peace of mind through proactive service.
What You’ll Do
- Manage Personal Lines Department across multiple locations
- Develop and maintain departmental workflows and procedures
- Identify, design, and participate in implementation strategies for the continued growth of the department including opportunities to cross-sell and round out coverage
- Assist Supervisors with the mentorship and development of Client Advocates and Account Managers
- Drive agency goals and performance objectives
- Continuously work to improve the client service experience and deliver excellent customer service
- Review and prepare monthly reports to determine progress in achieving department objectives
- Work to maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers
- Bolster productivity and positive work environment of the department
- Provide regular training for optimum use of agency management system and carrier websites
- Participate in annual evaluations for staff
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff members
- Account Management when required
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in Personal Lines
- MA P & C License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with Applied Epic is strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the agency
- Self-motivation and accountability to get the job done
- Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills
