Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients with their insurance needs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction. This integral position provides essential service and support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide excellent service in a timely manner
  • Assist clients with insurance policy questions, payments, and claims
  • Update client information in the database and maintain accurate records
  • Process new insurance policy applications and renewals
  • Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to resolve client issues
  • Keep informed about industry regulations and best practices to better serve clients
  • Work with the accounting department to manage client payments and account reconciliation
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while assisting clients and colleagues

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 3 years of personal lines insurance experience in an agency setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and MS Office applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
