We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Substitute to cover a maternity leave in our preschool room, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position! The ideal candidate will have a passion for God and a heart for teaching children, guiding them in both their faith and development.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: Estimated end of August
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Qualifications: To thrive in this role, candidates must:
- Be available Monday–Friday, 7 AM–6 PM
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Successfully complete a background check and TB test
- Have a passion for working with young children and for God
- Experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities: As an Infant Teacher Substitute, you will:
- Care for and supervise children aged 2.5-5
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the safety and well-being of every child
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Implement potty training, daily routines, and curriculum activities
- Incorporate Christian values in daily activities, including reading Bible stories, guiding children in prayer, and teaching them about God’s love, helping them grow spiritually as well as academically.
