Energy Efficiency Project Specialist

What You’ll Do
Customer & Trade Ally Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, distributors, and end users to drive energy efficiency projects.
Project Oversight – Guide customers through the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
CRM & Data Management – Utilize CRM systems like SAP or Salesforce to track leads, manage projects, and maintain detailed records.
Technical Consultation – Provide guidance on energy-efficient solutions, including HVAC, lighting, and water systems.
Follow-Up & Outreach – Proactively contact new and existing customers to promote energy efficiency programs and encourage participation.
On-Site Visits – Conduct in-person meetings and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings.
What You Bring
B.A. or B.S. in Business or a Technical Field OR 2 years of experience in project management, account management, or a similar role.
At least two years of experience working with CRM systems.
One or more years of experience in energy efficiency or utilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks.
Self-sufficient and able to work independently with little supervision.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable making follow-up calls and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage application processes related to energy efficiency projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial or industrial energy efficiency, technical sales, or B2B customer engagement.
Certified Energy Auditor (Commercial) designation.
Additional Details
Travel required within the client’s territory, up to 25 percent.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Must be in the office once per month.
