Description
As the Manager, Controls Engineering, you will lead and develop our controls engineering team across 6 production facilities and various automated warehouses. Your goal is to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with all industry standards, while supporting our journey towards world-class manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of controls specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive control system strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices to drive operational excellence.
- Project Management: Oversee and execute control system projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to achieve shared goals.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, but NOT required with strong experience.
- Able to travel domestically up to 25% per year
- Extensive experience in industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and robotics
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and power distribution principles
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage industry
- Knowledge of KO KORE and ISO quality standards
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
