Job Title: Electrical Technician
Educational Background
- An associate's degree in a field related to electrical engineering, automation systems, or a similar technical discipline is highly desired.
- Professional Experience:
- A minimum of two to three years of practical experience in an industrial setting is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from various manufacturers, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
- Capability to develop and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Experience in designing and installing electrical control panels.
- Proficiency in interpreting both electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and electronic issues, particularly in challenging industrial environments and under tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial electronic components.
- Understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
- Experience with three-phase motor control, including Wye/Delta configurations.
- Expertise in Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Profinet.
- Ability to configure temperature control systems and perform PID tuning.
- Knowledge of digital and hydraulic weighing systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
- Fluent in English.
- Perform comprehensive electrical and electronic maintenance tasks.
- Repair and maintain production and processing equipment.
- Specialize in diagnosing and repairing modern automated systems.
- Safely troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
- Execute electrical installation projects.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Provide support to other maintenance departments as needed.
- Stay current with technological advancements.
