Our client is looking for a legal clerk
This is a long term contract that must be done onsite 5 days per week in Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain case-specific information in the matter management system and on individual attorney's outlook calendars, including deadlines and court hearing dates
- Prepare letters, check requests, electronic filings, and other mailings as needed to support collection efforts
- Work collaboratively with the In-House Attorney Collections Team to effectively execute litigation strategy, including but not limited to printing, copying, and mailing documents to support all phases of the litigation process, filings and correspondence, and monitoring
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies, or related field ideally
- One (1) or more years of experience in a Law Firm, In-House Legal Department, or related field.
