Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage costs through strategic budget planning and aggressive maintenance management.
- Safeguard assets by developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Define project parameters and requirements, translating them into actionable plans for the team.
- Schedule project tasks according to established timelines.
- Assist in developing project specifications and designs.
- Train key personnel on maintenance best practices, including the use of maintenance management systems, problem-solving tools, maintenance scheduling, and data analysis.
- Coordinate major maintenance projects with manufacturing production, including planning for significant downtime activities.
- Address client complaints, concerns, or requests throughout the project.
- Establish and manage budgets, estimates, and plans for the project's lifespan.
- Set and evaluate departmental goals and objectives in collaboration with production, factory staff, and the Leadership Team.
- Conduct special studies to improve departmental services, factory operations, safety, and compliance with external requirements.
- Determine the need for construction management based on project requirements.
- Provide direction for maintaining and operating all physical equipment in conjunction with factory operations.
- Foster employee relations through continuous communication and participation in the factory Safety Committee.
- Promote ongoing technical and management development programs to enhance job performance through seminars, vendor information, on-site training, certifications, and professional society memberships.
- Participate in audits and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions.
- Work with Department Leads to maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas and equipment.
- Evaluate departmental production and packing needs for capital equipment.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, sanitation, and regulatory issues, including OSHA, EPA, GMP, FDA, and other local, state, and federal agencies.
