What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Supervisor position at The Judge Group?
Salary: $85,000-$95,000 10% Bonus
Shift: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm/M-F)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and implement site-specific Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives
- Safety Culture Champion: Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement on shift
- Regulatory Compliance: Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Hazard Assessment Pro: Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
- Perform OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
- Lead a team of safety coordinators.
- Participate on continuous improvement projects centered around the safety department
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial or Occupational Safety or related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a safety role
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
- Experience leading and training others is preferred.
- OSHA experience (certification is highly preferred)
- Open to 2nd shift
