Job Details

Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Fully on site in Sweetwater, TN and Ducktown, TN

Hours: 1st shift

Length of Engagement: 13 weeks with he possibility of extension

Rate: Competitive and Dependent on Experience

Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders/ Speech and Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Certificate Special Education - Speech and Language Impaired
  
  

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct identification program of residents with potential speech/language difficulties.
• Evaluate speech and language functions.
• Plan the clinical program for residents who have been identified as speech/language impaired, speech impaired, and/or residents having related disabilities with communication needs.
• Comply with State Standards, District Policies, and ASHA Guidelines in the processes of referral, screening, and placement.
• Obtain and use diagnostic information.
• Other duties as assigned.
