What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Consultant (Payroll) position at The Judge Group?
We are seeking a Solution Architect/Business Analyst to join our Workday HR Tech Capabilities Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday, particularly in configuring and supporting Payroll and Advanced and Core Compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Support Workday advanced compensation cycle.
- Review the 2023-2024 cycle, understand desired changes for the 2024-2025 cycle, and consult on solutions/best practices.
- Configure and implement solutions for the annual cycle and work on miscellaneous defect and enhancement projects in compensation, core HR, or US payroll functional areas.
- Provide functional and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including design, impact analysis, configuration, security, testing, and implementation.
- Research and evaluate options, recommend alternative solutions, assess impacts, prioritize deliverables, and drive each unit of work to completion.
- Collaborate closely with HR compensation SMEs to prioritize work, plan deliverables, and translate complex global business requirements into system solutions and configurations.
- Work with system developers on integration and other technical design considerations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Solution Architect/Systems Analyst/Business Analyst, with a focus on implementing or supporting complex advanced compensation cycles.
- Additional experience in supporting or implementing Benefits or US Payroll.
- Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting integration issues and defining requirements for new integrations.
- Experience with Workday EIBs for data loading.
- Strong consulting and communication skills to work effectively with HR leaders and partners.
- Excellent project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of system capabilities, typically acquired through formal training or experience, to assess automation and configuration possibilities.
- Strong organizational skills to develop and monitor project plans and manage competing priorities effectively.
Pay: $80-$90/hr
