About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions for large-scale software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and enterprise-level software projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills to drive Agile best practices, improve team performance, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
- Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive Agile transformations and coach teams on Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders to align business objectives with technical execution.
- Support teams in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring Agile adoption within development, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Remove impediments and shield teams from external distractions to maximize productivity.
- Promote Agile maturity within teams by introducing best practices, tools, and training.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to improve delivery efficiency.
- Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) and use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Manage dependencies between multiple teams and coordinate releases for large-scale software projects.
- Advocate for a culture of collaboration, innovation, and transparency across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8 years of experience in Agile project management with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies in software development.
- Experience working with large-scale, enterprise software development projects.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or LeSS.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI-ACP, or equivalent are preferred.
