The Kamson Corporation is seeking a leadership-driven, goal-oriented, Property Manager for an apartment community in Langhorne, PA. The ideal candidate will be professional, articulate, and with exceptional communication and customer service skills. 3-5 years in property management is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Physical inspections of the community to ensure curb appeal is maintained; verify condition of vacant apartments and coordinate with the maintenance staff to ensure timely recondition of apartments after move-out.
- Manage rent collection and delinquencies.
- Sign new and renewal leases. Generate and send renewal letters.
- Under the direction of the Regional Manager, carry out supervisory responsibilities following the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Responsible for the operational oversight of the apartment community.
- Responsible for responding to resident requests or complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner, and escalating when necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring that personnel in all departments operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times; complete incident reports when required.
- Three to five years related property management experience.
- Proficiency and working knowledge of personal computers: email correspondence, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications required. MRI knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to manage conflict, provide direction, and drive business results by managing the performance of staff members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to positively manage residents.
