Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ 85040! Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices weekly with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform weekly check runs and manage vendor payments, including credit card payments through software systems.
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Verify proper coding for all invoices and expenses.
• Manage purchase order (PO) matching, currently 2-way matching with plans to transition to 3-way matching.
• Handle credit applications and maintain invoice filing in PDF format through online systems.
• Assist with vendor maintenance and special projects as assigned.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) by processing standard invoices for customers.
• Process Certificates of Insurance with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting software.
• Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting processes preferred.
• Notary certification is a plus but not required.
• No degree is required; relevant experience is valued more.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done.
