The Keller Group is seeking a Regional Controller for our growing, publicly traded client based in the Phoenix area. This role will collaborate closely with the Corporate Controller to oversee the corporate accounting function for the divisions. They will play a key role in maintaining accounting standards across the organization, implementing new accounting guidance, and managing various corporate accounting areas. In addition, they will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, contribute to internal controls, and support the corporate financial close process.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements in OneStream
- Maintain compliance with finance policies assist in implementing best practices.
- Ensure financial statements are complete, accurate, and GAAP-compliant.
- Contribute to SEC reporting by preparing key financial reporting notes, MD&A, and statements.
- Implement new accounting guidance and conduct technical accounting research for non-routine transactions.
- Support the Corporate Controller in the corporate monthly financial close process and assist with key financial reports, presentations, and other financial matters.
- Oversee accounting for debt, interest, bonus accruals, leases, and other corporate accounting areas.
- Maintain internal controls documentation to ensure SOX compliance.
- Supervise senior and staff accountants, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA, MBA or active CPA candidacy acceptable
- 7 years of progressive accounting/finance/audit experience
- Experience with finance and accounting systems
- Prior experience managing and training accounting/finance teams
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
