Position Overview

The Killer Brownie Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Manufacturing to lead our production operations. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will play a critical role in continuing to drive growth and operational success. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and at an optimal quality level while bringing a strategic vision to enhance productivity and increase efficiency. This role requires a forward- thinker with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, exceptional people-first leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals, objectives and strategic imperatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.
• Mentor and train operations leaders to build a future leadership pipeline and bench strength.
• Collaborate with senior/executive leadership to set overall production goals and ensure alignment with business strategy.

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to guarantee product consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any production issues or quality concerns promptly.
• Work closely with the R&D team to integrate new product developments into the manufacturing process.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure The Killer Brownie Company remains competitive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role required.
• Proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing operations in a food production environment.
• Possessing a deep knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing, quality management systems and safety standards.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and inspire others across multiple shifts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• High-level of emotional intelligence, empathy, awareness, and critical, collaborative and curious thinking capabilities.
