The Kinsley Group is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for process improvement. Reporting to the Controller, this role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. You’ll help produce monthly internal financial statements and lead in-depth quarterly reporting to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
This position follows a hybrid work model, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.

You’ll help produce monthly internal financial statements and lead in-depth quarterly reporting to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and record accurate journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
- Maintain and balance sub-ledger and general ledger accounts
- Oversee account reconciliation using FloQast
- Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate closings
- Produce monthly trial balances and comprehensive financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Analyze financial statements to uncover trends and improvement opportunities
- Manage and execute weekly payroll with precision, including tax withholdings and benefits
- Calculate, file, and manage Sales and Use Tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Assist with audits, tax support, and general accounting functions
- Collaborate on ad hoc assignments and cross-departmental projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of accounting/finance experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems (ERP implementation experience a bonus)
