Established in 1888, The Kiski School is one of the oldest, independent, college preparatory, boarding schools in Pennsylvania and the United States. Home to 200 students, from 19 states and 27 countries, Kiski’s mission is to prepare students for success in college and in life. Kiski is searching for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Associate Director of Admissions to join our enrollment team. Reporting to the Associate Head for Enrollment Management, this individual will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and enrolling mission-appropriate students. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive as a member of a results-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students and their families, guiding them through each step of Kiski’s admissions process with care and precision.
• Identify and cultivate new student recruitment opportunities through outreach, travel, and strategic partnerships.
• Represent the school at admissions events, fairs, and school visits to promote our programs and community.
• Collaborate with faculty, coaches, and other school stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with institutional priorities and programs.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate applications, and assist with admission decisions with a keen eye for detail. Help families navigate the school’s financial aid application and process.
• Carefully Manage follow-ups and communications with prospective families, ensuring a highly personalized and engaging experience.
• Continually utilize data and market insights to make decisions about new target audiences and to refine recruitment strategies.
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, or related fields strongly preferred.
• Exemplary attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build authentic connections and create a highly personalized and tailored experience for each family in the admissions process.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to set and achieve enrollment goals.
• Ability to travel for recruitment purposes.
• Familiarity with, and a genuine love for, working with boarding school students and their families
• Proficiency with admissions software and CRM tools is a plus.
• A willingness to be involved in and contribute to other areas of school life such as athletics, residential life, or the arts.
