TKS is a global innovation program for the next generation of activators, scientists, and inventors. Our mission is to train unicorn people to impact billions. We’re not just an education company; we’re an accelerator to inspire young, ambitious minds to change the world. With students and alumni from over 500 cities, TKS is poised for impactful growth. We’re expanding our in-person programs (New York, Toronto, Dubai, Vancouver, Calgary), launching in new cities (San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Doha, Riyadh), and recruiting top talent worldwide for our virtual programs.
Our alumni have started venture-backed companies, performed cutting-edge research, presented at the world‘s largest conferences, and are creating solutions to tackle important problems like maternal mortality, cancer, and energy access.
Position Overview
Program Directors are responsible for delivering the 10-month TKS program to 80-120 students. Our directors have a passion for unlocking potential, want to help make a difference in the world, and have unique backgrounds / experiences.
Responsibilities
- Program Leadership : Lead and deliver weekly sessions, ensuring a high-quality program experience, with support from the Associate Director.
- Student Mentorship : Conduct 1-on-1 meetings with students to provide tailored mentorship, constructive feedback, and guidance, particularly on their projects.
- Community Building : Foster an engaging and inclusive community and culture that supports collaboration and innovation within the program.
- Student Recruitment : Actively recruit driven and high-potential students by building relationships with schools, leveraging community networks, hosting information sessions, and developing strategic partnerships, alongside reviewing applications and conducting interviews to select the best candidates for the program.
- Experiential Opportunities : Design and execute unique, hands-on learning experiences such as attending conferences, hosting guest speakers, and organizing tours of companies or labs, as feasible.
- Curriculum Facilitation : Master the curriculum on exponential technologies and lead insightful discussions about the future, incorporating philosophical and economic perspectives.
