Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team at our esteemed hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional guest service skills, a strong background in hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing outstanding service throughout their stay.
Duties
- Supervise and train front desk staff to deliver exceptional guest services.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Ability to assist guests with luggage as needed
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with relevant information.
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and address any issues.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and reservations.
- Foster positive guest relations by engaging with guests during their stay.
- Ability to work 2-3 Front Desk Shifts per week
Experience
- 3-4 years previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Strong background in guest services with proven ability to handle guest relations effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests and staff.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and managing phone systems for efficient communication.
- Experience with night audit processes is beneficial but not required.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
