Job Description
The Tech Service Rep at The LaMotte Company plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert technical support for all LaMotte products. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance with product selection to meet customer needs.
- Troubleshooting all products, including kits, software, and instruments, to resolve customer issues.
- Responding to requests for methodologies, proper techniques, reagent composition, standard methods, MSDS, and instrument repairs.
Instructions
This role requires excellent communication skills, a working knowledge of Windows, word-processing, and spreadsheet/database programs. Experience with software support and remote connection tools such as TeamViewer is also beneficial.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in science or a related field (chemistry preferred) is required. Chemistry exposure and a strong understanding of pool/spa water chemistry are major pluses.
Language Support
English is the primary language used for all customer interactions and internal communication within the company.
Working Hours
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
