The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.
We specialize in large, complex civil infrastructure projects and require a motivated individual to support our Mechanical Supervisor and/or Equipment Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to prevent downtime and improve productivity.
• Maintaining accurate records of equipment performance and condition.
• Scheduling and tracking preventative maintenance, inspections, and licensure of equipment.
• Evaluating predictive maintenance indicators, such as oil sample reports and thermal history.
• Reporting on equipment utilization and fuel consumption.
• Maintaining equipment inventory records and collaborating with vendors.
• Assisting in documentation and analysis of machine repairs and historical records.
Qualifications:
• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• Prior experience in plant, fleet, and/or heavy equipment repairs and management is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
