The Lane Construction Corporation is a leading provider of complex civil infrastructure solutions. Our expertise spans the development of roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, metro and railway systems, airports, and water and wastewater treatment plants.
In this role, you will support the Mechanical Supervisor and/or Equipment Manager in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, monitoring performance, and providing data on equipment use, care, and costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with mechanical supervisors, mechanics, electricians, and technicians to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve safety, minimize downtime, optimize efficiency, and maximize production.
- Ensuring equipment availability when needed and functioning as designed.
- Tracking and scheduling preventative maintenance, inspections, and licensure of equipment.
- Evaluating predictive maintenance indicators, including oil sample reports, thermal history, vibration analysis, and other relevant data.
- Monitoring and reporting equipment utilization and fuel consumption.
- Maintaining equipment inventory and documentation of machine repairs.
- Managing electronic equipment history and telematics data.
- Working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
- Collaborating with Procurement and AP teams for accurate distribution and coding of requisitions and invoices.
- Serving as shift supervisor as needed.
