Open Position for Immediate Hire: Become a Part-Time Spanish Teacher
Are you fluent in Spanish and passionate about working with young learners? The Language Project is looking for a part-time Spanish teacher to join our team at an elementary school located in the Severna Park area for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. We are hiring immediately!
Position Details:
- Location: Elementary school located in the Severna Park area
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: 25 hours per week during school hours (Monday to Friday)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, during school hours
- Duration: Through the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year, with the potential to continue in the next school year
- Training: Comprehensive training provided by The Language Project (TLP)
- Materials: All teaching materials and prepared lesson plans provided by TLP
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred
- Conversational English or higher proficiency
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience working or volunteering with children preferred
Responsibilities:
- Utilize provided lesson plans and materials
- Conduct engaging Spanish immersion classes
- Maintain classroom management and a positive atmosphere
- Commit to teaching at one school for the entire school year
- Participate actively in training sessions and workshops
