What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Busser position at The Lark?
The Lark is hiring Experienced Bussers to support our wait staff and contribute to the guest experience. Busser responsibilities include maintaining stations, properly clearing and resetting tables and opening/closing duties. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working, professional co-workers and high standards, we’d like to meet you. We are looking for team members with Saturday & Sunday Brunch availability as well.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Place tableware and condiments on tables
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
Skills
- Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
