LaSalle Network has partnered with a global manufacturer with a headquarters in Franklin Park looking to hire on a Cost Accounting Manager . This role will oversee financial operations across three manufacturing plants. This role will be three days in office in Franklin Park.
Budget for this role is up to a base of $124,000 with additional discretionary bonus
Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities :
Manage cost accounting processes for three distinct manufacturing plants
Develop and maintain comprehensive budget tracking systems
Conduct detailed cost analysis and variance reporting
Collaborate directly with plant floor operations and management teams
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost accounting reports
Implement cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvements
Monitor and analyze production costs, labor expenses and overhead allocations
Ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance with accounting standards
Cost Accounting Manager Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA or CMA certification preferred
5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing environments
Advanced Excel and financial software proficiency
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work directly on plant floors across multiple locations
Experience with SAP strongly preferred
Ability to work in manufacturing plant environments
Comfortable wearing appropriate safety equipment
