We are currently seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our client's team in Bloomingdale, IL.

Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities :
Evaluate credit worthiness of potential customers using financial statements, credit reports and other relevant information
Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collections on overdue accounts
Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address billing disputes and credit holds
Prepare reports on credit and collections activities for management review
Recommend changes to credit policies based on industry trends and company financial performance
Credit and Collections Specialist Requirements :
Proven experience as a Credit and Collections Specialist or similar role, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry
Strong understanding of credit principles, financial analysis and risk assessment
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
