- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BOOKKEEPING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
Full-Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions (the "numbers" side of Chicago)
Process invoices, payments, and receipts
Assist with financial reporting and budget tracking
Reconcile accounts and support audits
Handle payroll and other related financial tasks
Full-Charge Bookkeeper Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance / related field is preferred
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles and software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (just like organizing a trip to Navy Pier)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
