What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Lead position at The LaSalle Group?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Lead to join our client's team. They are a leading real estate development and management company based in downtown Chicago, that operates properties across the US. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for their diverse workforce.
Payroll Lead Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500-600 employees across corporate and property streams
- Handle payroll for salaried, hourly, full-time and part-time employees
- Manage multi-state payroll for up to 35 states, including California
- Process and file payroll taxes
- Set up new states as needed
- Maintain a strong relationship with the Ceridian Dayforce Managed Services team
- Follow up on issues and hold the vendor accountable for timely resolution
- Conduct regular payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Manage and mentor a junior, part-time payroll resource
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
