Senior Accounts Receivable Manager Responsibilities :
Lead and oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, ensuring efficient billing, collections, and cash application processes
Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables
Analyze AR performance metrics, monitor aging reports, and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve disputes and enhance customer payment experience
Assess and manage credit risk by establishing customer credit limits and ensuring compliance with company policies
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
Drive process improvement initiatives and leverage technology to streamline AR functions
Mentor, train, and develop the AR team to ensure high performance and professional growth
Senior Accounts Receivable Manager Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum of 7 years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of AR processes, credit management, and collections strategies
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a team effectively
Experience in the consumer goods industry is a plus
