This role is based in East Wisconsin Rapids, WI and offers relocation services.
Senior Health and Safety Specialist Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures for food manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across manufacturing facilities
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action plans are developed and implemented
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the facility
- Ensure all employees are familiar with safety regulations and food safety standards
- Analyze accident reports and suggest improvements to prevent future incidents
- Track and report on key safety performance indicators, including injury rates, near misses, and compliance issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
