Role Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Athens. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Measure and record height and weight, intake, and output for guests
- Care for the guests environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring guests receive adequate nourishment
- Observe guests skin and report changes to a licensed nurse, providing skin care as needed
- Meet guests mental health and social service needs, promoting emotional well-being
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- STNA certification in Ohio, or acceptable exemption required
