We're seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. As a CMA, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and assist staff members as needed. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure patients receive the correct medications at the right time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispense patient medications accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and record medication administration, including dosage times and amounts
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding medication management
- Follow established protocols and regulations to maintain a safe environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current Medication Aide certification
- At least one year of experience in elderly care, long-term care, or memory care settings
- BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
