The Unit Manager plays a crucial role in providing, planning, coordinating or managing nursing care and health education for our residents.

Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems.
- Assess and evaluate systems that facilitate quality resident care and staff performance.
- Apply a systematic approach to the nursing process to provide individualized care.
- Contribute to resident assessments and develop/implement plans of care.
- Evaluate resident responses to nursing interventions.
- Understand medication/treatment rationales and administer as needed.
Qualifications
- Current state nursing licensure required.
- Current CPR certification and additional specialty certifications desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
