The Laurels of Kent Careers offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity as an Administrative Services Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day office functions, providing assistance to guests and families with billing and insurance questions.
In this role, you will oversee the facility's accounts receivable system, record daily collections of cash receipts, and deposit funds to the appropriate account. You will also establish and maintain communication with patients, family members responsible for payment for patient care services.
Some of your responsibilities will include generating timely billing of all payer classes for claims generated by the facility, reviewing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid UB, CHAMPS, WebDenis, recording deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust, closing Resident Trust accounts timely, and completing bank reconciliation monthly.
To succeed in this role, you will need minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in the long term care setting, knowledge of PCC is helpful. A high school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical training preferred.
