Are you an experienced Business Office Manager with a proven track record in skilled nursing accounts receivable?

As the Business Office Manager at The Laurels of Kent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day office functions and providing support to guests and families with billing and insurance inquiries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing facility accounts receivable systems
  • Recording daily cash receipts and deposits to the appropriate account
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with patients, family members, and payers
  • Generating timely billing for all payer classes
  • Reviewing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid claims
  • Recording deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust
  • Closing Resident Trust accounts timely and completing bank reconciliations monthly
  • Processing Medicaid applications

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in long-term care setting; knowledge of PCC helpful
