As the Business Office Manager at The Laurels of Kent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day office functions and providing support to guests and families with billing and insurance inquiries.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing facility accounts receivable systems
- Recording daily cash receipts and deposits to the appropriate account
- Establishing and maintaining communication with patients, family members, and payers
- Generating timely billing for all payer classes
- Reviewing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid claims
- Recording deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust
- Closing Resident Trust accounts timely and completing bank reconciliations monthly
- Processing Medicaid applications
Required qualifications include:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in long-term care setting; knowledge of PCC helpful
