About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our experienced team. As a Registered Nurse at The Laurels of Worthington, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care, services, and health education to our nursing home guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the care and services provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants/State Tested Nursing Assistants (CNAs/STNAs), and other team members who care for guests.
- Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status.
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
- Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications.
- Contribute to guest assessments (Minimum Data Set/Continuity Assessment Record) and the development of a plan of care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
