Responsibilities:
✅ Represent clients in removal proceedings, bond hearings, and other immigration-related court matters.
✅ Prepare and file applications with USCIS, Immigration Court, and consulates.
✅ Provide legal advice and direct representation in cases such as asylum, family-based petitions, humanitarian visas (U, T, VAWA), SIJS, TPS, and waivers.
✅ Collaborate with clients and community organizations to provide trauma-informed and culturally competent representation.
✅ Travel to detention centers when necessary to meet with clients.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Licensed attorney (Bar admission required) in Maryland or another U.S. jurisdiction.
✅ At least 2 years of immigration law experience (removal defense, asylum, humanitarian visas, or family-based petitions preferred).
✅ Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred but not required).
✅ Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
✅ Ability to work in a hybrid setting.
✅ Passion for immigrant rights and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
